Caribbean Sea
On Board the MS Royal Princess: Day Ten
At Sea
[NOTE: I’ve grown weary of writing the usual bullshit narrative; so I’ve decided to dispense with it and present the raw notes I took on my iPhone instead.]
-woke up at 11:30, showered
-watched ‘Mary Poppins’ (for the first time in my life)
-took a break from the movie for lunch at Horizon Court: salad, Cajun-style catfish, Salisbury steak, mashed potatoes with gravy, broccoli, carrots, cheese
-dessert of coffee and cookies
-watched ‘Unfinished Business’ which was terribly unfunny with too much juvenile humor that we’ve all seen before
-watched about half of ‘A Million Ways to Die in the Wes’t before giving up on it (it was worse than Unfinished Business – sometimes it is better to cut down on the “jokes” and have a few mildly amusing lines and circumstances rather than a bunch of lame lines and shitty sight gags that fall flat; to put it another way: less of a bad thing is a good thing)
-drank a liter of Paulaner and got my fourth Oktoberfest glass on this cruise
-went through photographs from the past 20 days in my room whilst drinking my beer
-went to the Vista Lounge to watch Paul Tanner perform at 22:15
-took advantage of Club 6 happy hour and had four Guinness beers
-talked with Paul Tanner and some other passengers until about 02:00, then went to bed
