On Board the MS Royal Princess: Day Twelve

Princess Cays, Bahamas

 

[NOTE: I’ve grown weary of writing the usual bullshit narrative; so I’ve decided to dispense with it and present the raw notes I took on my iPhone instead.]

 

-woke up at 11:40, showered, dressed, decided not to go ashore to Princess Cays today (there isn’t much to do there other than get burned and covered in sand)

-watched ‘Big Eyes’

-watched ‘Love is Strange’

-early dinner at 17:10 at Horizon Court: small salad with blue cheese dressing, steamed carrots, an assortment of raw vegetables (cauliflower, broccoli, carrots, tomatoes, asparagus), chili con carne, iced tea

-had a coffee

-walked to the Princess Theater to watch Eric Lyden perform his comedy act

-relaxed in my room and watched ‘Batkid Begins’

-later dinner at Horizon Court, a German themed meal of: pork schnitzel, chicken schnitzel, sausages, sauerkraut, red cabbage, mustard, German potato salad, onion rings, cheese, iced tea

-then a dessert of two slices of different types of German cakes and a coffee

-watched ‘Whiplash’ again because I couldn’t get it out of my mind; also had four Guinness beers at Club 6 (which was dead on account of everyone sitting and watching the Broncos defeat the Packers) during happy hour

-watched ‘Mama Mia!’

-went to sleep after 02:00
